GreenWorks brings the sustainable planning it practices outdoors into our downtown office. In 2004, GreenWorks employees formed the company’s Green Action Strategies Program, or GASP, to inventory office practices and find ways to improve them. The GASP committee laid out ideas in one-, five- and ten-year plans. Some of the currently used practices include paper recycling, recycling bins in the kitchen for mixed paper, plastic and cans, and tea and coffee composting. In addition, we use cardboard 3-ring binders, and chip board spiral notebooks made from paper already used on one-side.
