The employees of GreenWorks are firm believers in the principles of sustainability.  Many of us commute to work year-round, and we all participate in the annual Bike-To-Work Challenge put on by Portland’s own Bicycle Transportation Alliance. 

The competition has brought out the best in us all, getting people on bikes who hadn’t considered such an idea since grade school, encouraging folks to do extra work so they can ride in on the weekend and make up a trip, and being shamed, cajoled, and frankly pressured into biking by our own office 'bike bully', fearless coordinator Liesl Deck.  We have had great success (as you can see) and augment our wins with internal challenges and prizes.
