GreenWorks prepared a design program and master plan for Gresham’s most prominent park located at the foot of Main Street in downtown. Routine flooding of Johnson Creek which bisects the park combined with the need for a “town center” created a unique project which required blending urban design and environmental issues. GreenWorks assisted in the location of a new community center and was a member of a multidisciplinary design team consisting of architects, hydrologists, ecologists, engineers, and a public involvement specialist.
