As a subconsultant, GreenWorks worked with a wetland ecologist to ascertain potential for wetlands creation and enhancement at Fernhill wetland site, for mitigation purposes for the Barney Reservoir expansion project.  This mitigation project incorporates 46 acres of mitigated wetlands at the Fernhill site, including: emergent marsh; shrub-scrub, and upland  plant communities.  Our role was to finalize conceptual plans and to develop detailed construction documents for creation of this project. GreenWorks also provided construction oversight and training of youth corps members to implement portions of the project.
