GreenWorks collaborated with a wetland ecologist to design a 2 acre wetland mitigation project incorporating hedgerow, scrub-shrub, and emergent marsh communities. GreenWorks was responsible for bidding and construction coordination. This project incorporated a temporary irrigation system, which greatly enhanced survivability of planted stock. Despite the small area of this project, it attracts: Canada Geese, Ring-billed Ducks, Wood Ducks, Mallards, Red-winged Blackbirds, Red-tailed Hawks, and others. This project recieved a National Merit Award from the American Landscape Contractors Association for Environmental Enhancement.
