Designed with an almost entirely native plant palette, this 3.6 acre project conceptualized some of the most common landscape types found in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest including: meadow, grassland, forest edge, and coniferous forest plant communities. Stormwater biofiltration swales were planted with a native, riparian plant community palette. During the design process we worked closely with representatives from the Forest Service and the City of Vancouver.
